MANCHESTER - The New Year brought new life to the Queen City.
Angel Vega and Amber Bolduc welcomed baby Phoenix Angel Vega Bolduc at 12:02 a.m. at the Elliot Hospital. Phoenix weighed in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 18.5 inches long.
Just over an hour later at Catholic Medical Center, Stephen and Joelle Steeves of Milford, greeted a baby daughter at 1:38 a.m.
Eloise Joy Steeves weighs 7 pounds and 3 ounces and is 18.5 inches long.
Both children are firsts for their new families.
Several other hospitals announced New Year's day births, including Concord Hospital, Exeter Hospital, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and Wentworth-Douglas Hospital.
