Matt Damon snaps photos with waitstaff after eating at popular NH Seacoast restaurant
PORTSMOUTH — Diners in the Port City got a pleasant surprise over the weekend when actor Matt Damon stopped into The Oar House on Saturday.
Damon and his family ate lunch at the restaurant.
The restaurant posted on Facebook that he took photos with most of the staff after eating and called him "gracious and very generous."
Server Nicole Ann Johnson-Hurst, who waited on Damon, told Seacoastonline.com that Damon is her husband's favorite actor and she took a photo to prove to her husband that Damon had been a customer.
Damon grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and has starred in numerous movies. He won an Academy Award for Best Screenplay for "Good Will Hunting."
