Police respond to cement truck rollover near Pheasant Lane Mall
TYNGSBOROUGH — Chief Richard Howe reported earlier today, Sept. 15, that the Tyngsborough Police Department responded to the scene of a cement truck rollover.
Responders urged motorists to avoid the area.
At approximately 1:15 p.m., Tyngsborough Police received a report that a cement truck had rolled over on Middlesex Road near the entrance to the Pheasant Lane Mall. Tyngsborough Police responded to the scene, along with Tyngsborough Fire and Nashua Police.
Tyngsborough Police asked that motorists avoid the area as crews remained on scene working to upright the truck, which was full of cement. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Tyngsborough Police Department, however, police believe that speed may have been a contributing factor. The driver suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
