Massachusetts man accused of sexually assaulting woman at NH smoke shop he owns

CONCORD — A business owner has been arrested after police said he sexually assaulted a woman at his store.
Virender Yadav, 61, of Salem, Massachusetts, has been charged with three counts of sexual assault and two counts of simple assault.
Police said a female came to the department on Sept. 3 and said Yadav hugged her repeatedly, had tried to kiss her, groped her and thrust himself against her as she had been trying to shop at NY Smoke & Vape at 132 Loudon Road.
The woman left the store and told police about the incident. During an investigation, detectives reviewed store video that showed the alleged assaults, police said.

Yadav was released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Concord district court Oct. 9 at 8:15 a.m.
