Mass. man gets 8 years in prison for bringing 15-year-old girl to NH for prostitution


CONCORD - A Massachusetts man has been sentenced to eight years in prison after he was arrested for taking part in transporting a 15-year-old girl who was engaging in prostitution across state lines.

Andy Pena, 21 of Jamaica Plain, Mass., was sentenced on one count of transporting an individual in interstate commerce for prostitution.

In February 2014, Homeland Security Investigations, Manchester and the Salem police departments along with the assistance of the Boston Police, rescued the 15-year-old who was engaging in prostitution at a hotel room in Salem.

Upon further investigation, police identified multiple individuals – including Pena – who were involved in the scheme to transport the girl from Boston to Salem.
