Mass. man arrested after police say he choked 5-year-old Exeter girl


EXETER - A Mass. man has been charged with two counts of second-degree assault for allegedly choking a five-year-old Exeter girl.

According to Exeter Police, Solomon Martinez, 19, turned himself into police on an active warrant for choking the girl who police said is a female relative while visiting an Exeter home.

Martinez was arraigned Monday in the Exeter District Court is currently held on $10,000 cash bail and $25,000 cash surety.

He is facing two felony charges that could be punishable with up to seven years in prison.
