Mass. lawmakers suggest implementing tollbooths for NH commuters

CONCORD – The U.S. Census Bureau said nearly 85,000 Granite Staters commute to Massachusetts for work – but now, under a new proposal, those thousands of commuters could start to pay for it.

According to the Boston Globe, Massachusetts lawmakers have proposed N.H. drivers help maintain the crumbling roads of their neighboring state - by placing tollbooths along main highways.

As N.H. bills any drivers headed up 93 to Hampton Beach or the White Mountains, a tollbooth heading into Boston might make sense to some – but it's bound to upset a few commuters.
