Written by NH1 News on .
March Madness has been living up to it's name quite well as a handful of upsets have made for an interesting Sweet 16 class. With all the "madness," how many perfect brackets still remain?
ESPN reported that nearly 18.8 million brackets were filled out this March; however, as we set our sights on the Sweet 16, only 0.000096% of those remain perfect, totaling 18 brackets.
Approximately 7.3 million ESPN brackets had Duke as a Final Four team, with more than 2 million having them as their national champion. Duke fell to South Carolina 88-81 in the Round of 32 on Sunday.
Only 5 percent had South Carolina moving on to the Sweet 16, and approximately 0.1 percent correctly picked the East Region's Sweet 16 teams of Baylor, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Florida.
