Manufacturing summit to look at region, supply chain

The Associated Press

MANCHESTER — The author of a manufacturing study in New England and the director of supply chain operations for Raytheon will headline the 13th annual Governor's Advanced Manufacturing and High Technology Summit on Oct. 9.

The Center of New Hampshire in Manchester event brings together over 200 manufacturing plant and high-tech company representatives.

Alison Land is co-author of the New England Council Advanced to Advantageous report. The report says the region enjoys a competitive position stemming from an intricate network of relationships in industry, government and education.

Neil Perry of Raytheon Co. will speak about supply chain transformation. Raytheon, he says, uses "data analytics, collaborative technology and partnership on initiatives with our suppliers" to reduce costs.
