Manchester testing snow emergency flashing lights Thursday and Friday

MANCHESTER — The city will be testing the snow emergency flashing lights at various intersections on Thursday and Friday.

A snow emergency allows for city crews to plow the full width of the streets.

Upon declaration of a snow emergency, vehicles must be removed from the streets, according to the City of Manchester's website. Any vehicle left on the street is subject to removal and at risk of being impounded.

This test is being administered in preparation for the upcoming winter.
