Manchester SWAT team arrests 5 people; seizes stolen handgun, over 100 grams of drugs
MANCHESTER — The Manchester Police SWAT team arrested five people after issuing an arrest warrant for an armed robbery suspect.
SWAT entered a Union Street apartment Tuesday at about 3:30 p.m., believed to be where the suspect, Terrence Cannon, 36, was staying.
Cannon and four others - Linda Chipchase, 40, Edward Deshawn Roberts, 37, Ashley Bradicich, 20, and Maria Camacho, 36 - were located inside the apartment.
Cannon was arrested on the armed robbery arrest warrant. He was also charged with two counts conspiracy to possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute - crack/heroin, felon in possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property - firearm - after detectives located a stolen .40 caliber handgun, 86.8 grams of crack cocaine with a street value of $9,000, and 23.2 grams of heroin with a street value $1,200 inside of the apartment.
Chipchase was charged with two counts conspiracy to possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute and conspiracy to receiving stolen property.
Roberts was charged with convicted felon in possession of a deadly weapon, conspiracy to receiving stolen property and two counts conspiracy to possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute.
Camacho and Bradicich were both arrested on outstanding warrants.
Cannon, Chipchase, Roberts and Bradicich appeared in court Wednesday. Camacho was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 19.
