MANCHESTER - Police and the SWAT team were deployed to the west side of the city on Wednesday night.
Initially police went to a house on Goffe Street with a search warrant for a man inside.
Police had heard reports that the man may have been armed and dangerous and sent SWAT to the house immediately.
Police took one man into custody and after a sweep of the building two more men were taken from the scene.
Police say the men were non-compliant but they appeared to be unarmed.
Neighbors say the sights of swat and the sounds of sirens left them uneasy.
“Bullets can fly," said Tiffany Faulhefer, who witnessed the arrests. "People have that issue all the time where bullets can go in their house or stray bullets hit their children or things like that so it is extremely nerve-racking,”
