Manchester School District names finalists for superintendent

MANCHESTER — Two finalists have been named for the Manchester superintendent position.

Dr. Bolgen Vargas, a former interim superintendent for the Rochester, N.Y., School District; and Dr. Vincent Cotter, president and co-founder of the Exemplary Schools Organization and former superintendent of schools in Plymouth Meeting, Penn., have been chosen by the Special Committee on the Superintendent Search, Chairman Debra Langton told the Union Leader on Tuesday.

The full Manchester Board of School Committee will consider both candidates for the position on Sept. 24.
