Manchester Police: Several people held against their will
MANCHESTER - Police said a group of men allegedly took over an apartment and held several people against their will.
An anonymous call was made to the Manchester Police Department at about 11:55 p.m. on Thursday.
Officers responded to an apartment on the west side of the Queen City.
The caller told police that a group of men had taken over an apartment and held several people against their will.
Patrol Sergeant's Brandon Murphy and Al Aldenberg developed further information about possible handguns in the apartment, so came up with a safe plan to approach the 1st floor apartment at 301 Amory Street.
Police used the Manchester Police S.W.A.T. team to clear residents from three apartments.
The S.W.A.T. team searched the three apartments.
They located four people inside the third floor apartment. None of the four individuals had permission to be inside the third floor apartment.
Police arrested Anthony Borrome, 19, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla, Deshawn Addison, 23, of Manchester, Robert Shand, 22, of Manchester, and Anna Messina, 33, of Manchester.
No weapons were found.
All four people were charged with resisting arrest/detention and criminal trespassing.
