Manchester police seek suspect who robbed Bunny's Superette at gunpoint

MANCHESTER - Police are looking for a man wearing a black and grey hooded sweatshirt and a white scarf across his face responsible for the armed robbery of Bunny's Superette on Monday evening.

According to police, the man entered the store around 7:30 p.m. and was carrying a small, black handgun, which he pointed at the clerk and demanded that the cash registers be opened. The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot with about $500 in cash.

Police say the man is described as dark skinned, about 5-foot-5-inches tall with a medium build. In addition to the hooded sweatshirt and scarf, he was wearing blue jeans, police said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Manchester police at 668-8711 or report anonymously to the Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040.
