Manchester police say shooting situation is 'fluid,' investigation ongoing

MANCHESTER — Manchester police are investigating a morning shooting that sent one man to a local hospital.
Police said they found a male victim of a single gunshot wound in the 200 block of Central Street around 8:20 a.m. Thursday. Reports from the scene indicate police were talking with people on Central Street near the intersection of Central and Union Street.
Around 10 a.m. police said officers were searching for a potential suspect at a rooming house on Amherst Street.
Officials characterized the situation as "fluid," and had no other information as their investigation continues.
