Manchester police say heroin epidemic hitting record numbers
MANCHESTER - As the state heroin epidemic continues, Manchester police said heroin overdose deaths have passed a new mark.
There have been 51 deaths in the Queen City since January 1.
There have also been 400 non-fatal overdose calls.
These numbers are from officers, but have yet to be confirmed by the medical examiners office which tracks all overdoses in the state.
