Manchester police say cab driver found man passed out in car from alleged heroin overdose

MANCHESTER — A man has been arrested after allegedly over dosing on heroin in the back seat of a cab.

Queen City Taxi employee Jack Anderson called police at around 10 a.m. after he found Jonathan Bijoel, 34, passed out in the back of his cab.

AMR and Manchester fire administered Narcan to Bijoel to revive him. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Bijoel was allegedly found with a hypodermic needle and a small cylinder with a hard white substance, which police said tested positive for heroin. He was charged with possession of a controlled drug, and was also placed on a 72 hour hold by probation/parole. He is scheduled to appear in Manchester district court Friday.
