Manchester police looking for man who robbed Boynton Street convenience store

MANCHESTER - Saturday at 9 p.m. Manchester police responded to an armed robbery at Budget Gas of 20 Boynton St.

The store clerk told police that the suspect was a white man who entered the store wearing a gray Boston Red Sox hat, black gloves, a navy blue jacket with white stripes, jeans and dark colored shoes.

The clerk also told police the suspect covered his own face with a white scarf, as he waved a black revolver around demanding cash.

From there, the clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect then fled.

He was last seen walking on Boynton Street.

Manchester police urges anyone who knows anything about the robbery to please contact the Manchester Police Detective Unit at 603-668-8711, and/or the Manchester Police Crimeline at 603-624-4040.

Crime tips may be left anonymous if desired, and may be eligible for a cash reward should the tip lead to the identification of the suspect involved.
