Manchester police looking for 2 women in case involving woman, 65, shooting would-be robber


MANCHESTER - Police are on the lookout for two women in connection with an attempted robbery that ended with an assailant being shot by a 65-year-old woman on Monday night.

Police said they're looking for Julie Lambert, 21, and Amanda Gurley, 26 - both of no fixed address - on charges of conspiracy to commit robbery.

Both women were in the car at the time of the attempted robbery, as well as another man, who will also be charged in the case.

Another man will also be charged in the attempted robbery.

Zack Boyd was arrested for unrelated charges on the night of the incident, but police connected him with the incident.

The man who sustained the gunshot wound, Michael Bontaites, 23 was hospitalized and charged with the attempted robbery.

Gurley is also wanted for Violation of Bail Conditions stemming from a September 2015 arrest.

Lambert is described as 5’1, 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Lambert also has a nose piercing. Gurley is described as 5’1, 115 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Both women are currently homeless and have no known address.

The Manchester police are asking for information regarding the whereabouts of these women.
