Manchester police: Investigation leads to confiscation of 300 grams of heroin worth $10,500

MANCHESTER - Elmer Torres, 35, was arrested Tuesday night after an ongoing investigation into the distribution of large amounts of heroin in the Queen City.

Manchester detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop on the city’s Westside, where Torres was operating a 2005 Acura.

Police said approximately 300 grams of heroin were located in Torres’s car, which equates to roughly $10,500.

The arrest essentially removed 1,500 “hits” of heroin off Manchester streets, police said.

Torres was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute and conspiracy to commit the sale of a controlled drug.
