Manchester police investigating robberies at Subway and Rite Aid

MANCHESTER - Police are on the lookout for a suspect in a Friday night robbery at the Rite Aid on Hooksett Road.

Police say suspect walked into the pharmacy section of the store and claimed to have a gun. The clerk handed the man an undisclosed amount of 30 mg. Oxycodone pills.

Witnesses say the man fled on foot and may have entered a red Chevrolet pick-up truck with a possible New Hampshire registration bearing 353 as the first three digits.

He is described as a dark skinned male, possibly African-American, approximately 5-feet-6-inches tall, with a skinny build, last seen wearing a blue surgical mask and a blue hooded sweatshirt.

RiteAid is offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

Manchester police also responded to an unarmed robbery Tuesday morning at the Subway on Elm Street.

Police had little information on the Subway robbery, but posted a picture of the suspect taken from surveillance video.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to contact the Manchester Police Detective Division at 668-8711.
