Police have not identified the man that they found.

Several hours before announcing the update in the case, police executed several search warrants, closing off parts of Dartmouth and Goffe streets as part of an investigation.

They could not confirm on Thursday night whether it was related to the shooting.

SWAT responded to 63 Goffe St. where neighbors said police removed a woman from the home.

SWAT responded to the same home in August.

Police believe Pittman's homicide was not random, and neighbors said drugs are to blame for violence in the area.
