NH1.com

MANCHESTER - In the wake of the largest methamphetamine bust in New Hampshire history, Manchester police are investigating a possible meth lab in the city.

The Manchester Police Department was called to investigate a possible meth lab at 486 Spruce St. They are not saying what they found if anything.

Police and other officials are still on scene. Items are being removed from the building.

A man was arrested on Monday for trying to sell a DEA agent more than 16 pounds on meth. Rigoberto Ramirez Aldava, 40 of Manchester, operated El Patron Sports Bar and Grill.

The DEA said that bust was a record-amount of meth recovered in the state, and that it was part of the agency's commitment to "disrupt and dismantle Mexican drug trafficking organizations."
