Manchester plans community discussion of opiate addiction crisis


MANCHESTER – The city's heroin addiction crisis will be the focus of a community forum on July 28.

Police Chief Nick Willard will be one of five panel members to take questions from the public. Other panel members include; Chris Stawasz, General Manager of American Medical Response-NH/ME; Mary Forsythe-Taber, Executive Director of the Makin’ It Happen Coalition for Resilient Youth; Melissa Crews of Hope For New Hampshire Recovery and Wayne Dutch, PhD.

The July 28 discussion is intended to help those adversely affected by the opiate addiction crisis in Manchester and beyond. It is sponsored by the Radisson Hotel, which will host the event at its EXPO center, 700 Elm St., from 5-7 p.m.
