MANCHESTER - Police are searching for a suspect in an attempted robbery at a city market.

Police responded to the $0.99 and Cigarette Market at 383 Kelley St., on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014.

The victim said a 30- to 35-year-old Hispanic male, about 5-feet, 10-inches tall, with light facial hair and last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, and a black bandanna covering his face entered the store and asked for cash. The victim also said the suspect spoke with an accent and was armed with a small, black handgun.
