Manchester, NH, man barricades himself in home
MANCHESTER - Last night, police in Manchester received a call that a man on Becker Street was possibly suicidal. Once police arrived on scene, the man - identified as 37 year-old Jeffrey Green - refused to leave his home saying he did not want the police involved.
The crisis intervention team arrived on scene next and tried to remove Green from the home peacefully, but according to a press release, Green threatened to "come out shooting" if the officers remained on scene.
Manchester SWAT team arrived and through a crisis negotiator was able to get Green to leave the home unarmed shortly after midnight. He was charged with criminal threatening and obstructing government administration and is expected in court this morning.
