Manchester mom pleads guilty to child endangerment for 3-week-old daughter's death


MANCHESTER — The mother of an infant found dead in her home last fall has plead guilty to endangering the welfare of her child.

Stephanie Camelo was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of reckless conduct after her 3-week-old baby girl was found dead in her apartment in October of 2015.

Camelo plead guilty Tuesday to two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. All other charges were dropped.

She received two years in jail with all of the time suspended as long as she remains on good behavior.
