Manchester man pleads guilty to illegal possession of a firearm
CONCORD — Anthony Pillsbury, 36, of Manchester has pleaded guilty to a federal indictment and being charged with illegal possession of a firearm.
The morning of July 10, 2015, Manchester police saw Pillsbury walking on Lowell Street and stopped him, mistaking him for someone else who they had an active warrant for.
Before police could confirm his identity, he found a firearm in Pillsbury's back pocket. Upon further research, Pillsbury is prohibited from possessing firearms as a result of a prior felony.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for August 9.
