Manchester man pleads guilty to fentanyl distribution charges days after accomplice

CONCORD — A Manchester man suspected of distributing fentanyl pleaded guilty in court days after his accomplice.
Almir Causevic, 32, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute fentanyl.
Court documents and statements showed that on April 1, 2016, law enforcement officers conducted a traffic stop in Manchester for a car operated by Almir Causevic. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 244 grams of fentanyl and $1,200 cash.
A passenger in the vehicle, Muharem Causevic, pleaded guilty to the drug conspiracy charge Friday. Both have sentencings scheduled for Nov. 28, and as a result of the convictions, each man may also face deportation proceedings following the federal prison sentence.
