THORTON — A Manchester man died after striking a small stand of trees on Interstate 93 southbound.
Ahmed Al Husseini, 24, was found outside of the vehicle after troopers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision Wednesday at about 6:55 a.m., police said.
Husseini sustained significant injuries in the collision and was transported to Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, where he later died.
Preliminary on-scene investigation revealed that Al Husseini was traveling alone on Interstate 93 southbound when his vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and then veered off the left side of the roadway, rolled over and came to rest after striking a small stand of trees.
Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in this collision however the investigation is on-going and all factors are being considered, police said.
