MANCHESTER - A father who pleaded guilty to shaking his infant daughter, causing serious injuries, has been sentenced to 5 to 10 years in jail.
Jonathan Legault admitted to acting out of frustration with the 2-to-3-month old's crying.
Police learned of the baby's injuries when they were called to a Manchester hospital on Oct. 10. The baby was subsequently airlifted to Boston Children's Hospital.
Under the plea deal, Legault cannot have any contact with the child, but that could change if he takes parenting classes.
The infant did not suffer any permanent damage.
