Manchester man charged with domestic assault in after police standoff in Hooksett


Police responded to a report of domestic abuse at the Fire Bird motel in Hooksett.

Police say Brandon Griffin of Manchester refused to open the door, and there was the suggestion that he had a gun.

Police tried to talk Griffin into leaving the room, but he refused.

After a few hours, he left the room unharmed due to the Manchester SWAT.

Griffin was charged with resisting arrest and domestic assault.

His bail was set at $15,000, and was taken to the county jail after he was unable to pay it.
