Manchester man charged with 2nd-degree assault after punching victim, fracturing skull


MANCHESTER - A fight outside of Manchester night club, Crazy Camel, left a man unconscious with a skull fracture and concussion.

Early Sunday morning at 12:40 a.m. police officers responded to a fight outside of the night club, at 245 Maple Street. The fight involved an unconscious man who was transported to a local hospital.

David Mitchell, 26, of Manchester, was arrested at his Rimmon Street home.

Mitchell allegedly struck the man with a closed fist outside of the bar. The victim suffered serious injuries during the punch and the fall.

Mitchell was charged with second-degree assault and will appear in court on Jan. 6.
