Manchester man charged in shooting death of Michael Pittman on Granite Street

MANCHESTER - A former Boston man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting of Michael Pittman.

According to the N.H. Attorney General, Michael Young, 24, is accused of purposely causing Pittman's death by shooting him in the torso outside 472 Granite St. on Nov. 3. Young was arrested Thursday night.

The Attorney General listed Younge's last known address as 2 Soldiers Field Park in Boston, but court documents listed his address as 199 Manchester St. in Manchester.

Young was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday in the 9th Circuit Court in Manchester.
