Manchester man accused of driving with no license with loaded gun in the car

HOOKSETT - A man was arrested for allegedly driving without a license and has been accused of possessing a .38 caliber gun inside the vehicle at the time of the pullover.

Mark Reed, 28 of Manchester was stopped late Thursday night leaving the Firebird Motel in Hooksett in a 1997 Lexus registered to the state of Tennessee. Police found that the vehicle was connected to a criminal mischief complaint that was being investigated in that area.

Police said a license check revealed that Reed never had a driver’s license. Police also said they discovered that Reed had a loaded gun concealed in the vehicle without having a license to do so.

He was charged with operating without a license and carrying a loaded firearm without a license.

Reed was released on a personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in court on April 26.
