Manchester man accused of disorderly conduct charged with heroin possession

MANCHESTER - Police responding to a report of disorderly conduct on Wednesday night arrested a Manchester man on drug charges.

Police say Tige Dyer, 42, was reportedly flailing his arms and kicking his legs in the air at the TN Convenience store on Bridge Street, leading a clerk to call police.

Police say they arrived and found that Dyer was wanted on warrants for receiving stolen property and theft by deception and forgery. He was taken into custody and police say they found him in possession of about nine grams of heroin and half a gram of crack cocaine.

Dyer, who was on probation, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug and is scheduled to appear in court on April 7.
