Manchester Holiday Inn robbery suspect turns himself in
MANCHESTER - 31 year-old Michael Cenat from Haverhill, Massachusetts has turned himself in after he was named as a suspect in the robbery of a Florida woman and her two children two weeks ago.
On Sept. 16, 2014, just before midnight, the Florida woman with her two children pulled up in a rental car to the Holiday Inn Express on South Porter St. in Manchester. They had just arrived on a flight from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
As she was getting out of the car, she was accosted by a black male with a gun accompanied by a white male. The black male demanded her purse and the woman complied, giving the man two purses and a bag of food. The Manchester Police Department supplied descriptions of the men and asked for the public's help in identifying them.
A week later, the Manchester police released the photographs of the two men asking for the public's help in finding the suspects. On Monday night, one of the suspects, Cenat, turned himself in. Cenat was charged with robbery and appeared in court this morning.
The other suspect, 30 year-old Eric St. Pierre, is still at large.
