Manchester drug court to open in 2 weeks

MANCHESTER — A drug court is expected to be up and running in Manchester within the next two weeks, Mayor Ted Gatsas told city aldermen.

The Hillsborough Country Drug Court is expected to be operational at Hillsborough Country North on or around Nov. 15.

Gatsas told members of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen Tuesday night that he had met with Judge Brown who will preside over the court.

Gatsas hopes to make this drug court a success by "developing strong, meaningful relationships between the court, the city, the Greater Manchester community and local businesses."
