Manchester couple fights for unborn son

A Manchester couple is fighting for the life of their unborn baby son.

Nancy Glyn and Mike Gebo are struggling to keep their son, Sawyer alive in the midst of Preeclampsia, a pregnancy complication characterized by high blood pressure.

Sawyer weighs 1 pound. “We’re doing everything we can to keep Sawyer inside but the reality is we may have to take him out anytime now” said one of Nancy’s nurses according to a press tip about the situation.

Clyn needs to control her stress levels for the sake of her blood pressure. But that's difficult when Gebo is in the hospital himself getting a hernia removed from his back. This leaves him unable to work Lindt Chocolate factory.

Given the circumstances, a GiveForward fundraiser page has been organized on behalf of the the family to help them through their crisis.

“We really need to increase the exposure of the fundraiser, with that hopefully comes donations and each donation is a teeny tiny bit of stress that’s lifted from Nancy during this critical time”. The family has expressed gratitude for the reponse.

“My mind is kind of blurry about things right now. I keep waking up here and thinking it was all a dream but the community support we’ve already been given has been tremendous” said Nancy from her Elliot hospital bed.

If you’d like to contribute to the fundraiser please find the page here.
