Manchester center for those seeking help for addiction needs clothing donations


MANCHESTER - Amber's Place, Crisis Recovery Respite is asking for help with clothing donations.

The center needs sweat pants, sweatshirts, socks and plain T-shirts for men and women. The idea is for guests to feel comfortable as they start the healing process. All sizes are needed.

Items can be dropped off at two locations

Hope for NH Recovery/Amber's Place at 140 Central St., Manchester, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Kriss Cosmetics, 145 S. Main St., Manchester, Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. or Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Amber's Place is a center for those who need help dealing with addiction. It was created by Kriss Blevens in memory of her stepdaughter Amber Blevens who died from a heroin overdose in 2014.
