Manchester animal shelter looking to identify dog thrown from vehicle

MANCHESTER - The Manchester Animal Shelter is looking for help identifying a dog that was thrown from a vehicle window.

The shelter said someone dropped the dog off saying they picked the dog up after seeing it thrown from a vehicle window on the east side of the city. The person said it was dark at the time and they were unable to provide details of the vehicle.

The dog is male, possibly a chihuahua-terrier mix and appears to be in the older age range.

The dog had been neglected and has bare spots, and his nails growing into his pads on his paws.

Anyone with information about the dog's identity can call Manchester Animal Shelter at 628-3544.
