Manchester alderman's response to dirty drug needles at Manchester Little League parks

For NH1.com

Manchester Alderman Bill Barry sent NH1 News a note Friday regarding our coverage of the needles on Little League fields:

The Health Department, Manchester Police, Manchester Fire and Public Works have all done a fantastic job addressing the incidents with discarded needles. I want to thank NH1 News for doing a great job reporting the problem that our city is facing with the Heroin epidemic. It is unfortunate that people who are suffering from addiction are so careless to put other innocent children and adults in danger by not properly disposing of their needles.

Again, I am very proud of the response from our city departments. It is certainly amazing how our city comes together to make Manchester a safer place to live and raise a family.

Bill Barry

Manchester Alderman, Ward 10
