HOOKSETT — There has been yet another overdose as the Granite State continues to tackle the drug crisis.

Tuesday night, police responded to The Firebird Motel, of 10 Bell Ave. in Hooksett, after getting reports that a woman was yelling for help.

When police got there, they found the woman identified as Alissa Souza, 28 of Manchester in a hotel room along with a 28-year-old man suffering from a drug overdose.

Police said the man was unconscious, had no pulse and wasn't breathing while laying in the bathtub. Officers performed CPR and revived the man.

Once firefighters got to the scene they administered narcan to reverse the effects of the overdose.

It was discovered that the man had a no-bail warrant out of Hillsborough County for his arrest, and once released from the hospital, he was transported to the Valley Street Jail.

Souza was also discovered to have a warrant out of Bedford for endangering the welfare of a child. She was then turned over to Bedford Police.
