Man, woman arrested in robbery where Nashua man was struck in head with tire iron

NASHUA - A Massachusetts man was arrested for robbing a man and striking him in the head with a tire iron, police said.

James Robinson, 25, of Billerica, Mass., was charged with first-degree assault, robbery, criminal threatening and criminal mischief. Police said the June 1 incident occurred about 7 p.m. in the area of 55 Crown St.

The victim told police he and Theresa Rodonis, 41, of Nashua, were arguing when Robinson hit him in the head with the tire iron. The victim said he was also threatened by Robinson while being assaulted and that both he and Rodonis stole his phone.

Rodonis was also arrested and charged with robbery.
