Man who took stepdaughter, 15, charged with interference with custody of a child
OLD TOWN, Maine — The man who took his stepdaughter out of state will be charged with the interference with custody of a child by Hampton police.
Natalee Cote was reported missing on Sept. 12. Police reported that Cote has willingly left with her stepfather, Christopher Julian, after school on that day. They were found safe in Hampton on Sept. 13.
Old Town police are not pursuing any charges because the victim said that she did not want to pursue anything. However, Hampton police are still charging him with interference with custody of a child and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
