Man wanted in NH arrested in Lowell Mass. on Friday

CONCORD – A man wanted in New Hampshire was arrested Friday in Lowell, Mass.

Charles Sally Jr., 29, was listed as the "fugitive of the week" by the U.S. Marshals Service in New Hampshire. He was wanted on a parole violation. Sally was out on parole for first-degree assault and had an extensive criminal history, the Marshals Service said.

As a result of the publicity, multiple tips pointed to an apartment on Cady Street in Lowell, and Lowell police were asked to make the arrest.

Sally will be held at the Middlesex County Jail, pending his return to the NH State Prison.
