Man wanted for Nashua robbery arrested in Massachusetts

NASHUA - State police in Massachusetts have arrested a man wanted in connection with a Nashua robbery in August.

According to police, Miguel Fontanez, 27, of Fitchburg, Mass. has been charged as a fugitive from justice. Police say the charges stem from the robbery of the Zaynab Shell Food Mart at 160 Broad St., where a man showed a gun and obtained an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register before fleeing on foot.

Nashua police say Fontanez is being held at a jail in Worcester on an unrelated charged and will eventually be extradicted to New Hampshire on the robbery charge.
