Man turns himself in to Hudson police on child pornography charges


HUDSON - A man the police had been investigating on suspicion of possessing child pornography turned himself in on June 16.

Louis Pilat has been charged with making and distributing child pornography.

Police said they received tips about Pilat beginning a month ago.

As of now, authorities believe that no local children were involved.

Pilat's court date is in August. He is out on $50,000 bail.
