Man Tazed, arrested after getting kicked out of Manchester hotel
MANCHESTER - A man was arrested Saturday afternoon after an incident that began when he refused to leave a hotel.
Police were originally called the the Radisson on Elm Street after a William Maloof, 25 of Derry, allegedly refused to leave the hotel after staff said he caused a disturbance.
Police said they were eventually able to convince him to grab his belongings, but he became combative once outside.
Once at his car, police said Maloof backed out at a high rate of speed and hit another car in the parking garage. Police were able to catch up with him at a closed gate.
Maloof allegedly refused to leave the car at first, but once outside, started fighting with the officers arresting him. Police said they deployed their Tazers and tackled him to the ground.
He was charged with criminal trespass, conduct after and accident, resisting arrest/detention and reckless conduct (F).
He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20.
